Sweatshirt or hoodie?
Same fabric family, different neckline. A crew sweatshirt layers cleanly under a jacket or overshirt because there is no hood bunching at the collar. A hoodie gives you the hood and usually a pocket. If you layer often, the crew is the more useful piece.
Construction
Single jersey, pre-shrunk, side-seamed, ribbed collar cuffs and hem. Solid colours are 100% combed cotton; heather and melange shades are cotton-polyester blends, which is what gives them the flecked tone.
Care
Cold wash inside-out, low heat, no fabric softener.
