Everyone has a hero within them. The SuperCape Universe — the SCU — is where that idea stops being a tagline and becomes a story.

Original characters, original mythology and original conflicts begin on the streets of Hyderabad. In this world, the Aether responds to what people choose to do for one another. Read the episodes in order and discover the people, places and forces behind the cape.

The Characters

VoltCape / Vihaan Rathore — A 19-year-old delivery rider from Hyderabad who keeps stopping to help strangers, even when it costs him. Those choices awaken the Aether within him. Blue-white lightning takes the shape of a cape behind his shoulders, but carrying that current hurts and leaves marks. Its light grows when Vihaan acts for someone else and fades when he reaches for glory. His power is a choice he must keep making.

Naaz — Vihaan's sharp-minded neighbour and closest ally. Seventeen and happiest with a machine taken apart in front of her, she builds the scanner that detects the impossible signal in his shoulder. Where Vihaan moves first, Naaz asks what the signal means and follows the evidence.

Ori — An Old City tailor whose unmarked shop guards more than cloth. She recognises Vihaan's Aether mark, understands why his cape appears and knows the way to the hidden Gate. Ori measures choices as carefully as she measures fabric, and she warns Vihaan that being seen is not the same as being chosen.

Nekroth — A patient, courteous adversary who opened the Aether Gate two centuries ago and spent decades studying its current. He believes dormant Aether should be taken from those who never use it and concentrated in a select few. His method leaves no obvious wound, but steals something vital: the impulse to stop for another person. Nekroth is convinced his doctrine will save the world.

Skull Spider — A crimson-and-black antagonist working at the edges of Nekroth's harvest. His eight lines form a psychological web, forcing people to face the versions of themselves they fear most. He finds recruits when they are at their lowest and delights in the choices that follow. The complete skull and eight-legged spider mark announce that he is near; his ambitions reach beyond anyone else's plan.

The World

Aether — A current that passes quietly through everyone. It can become visible when an action gives it shape; it cannot simply be inherited, hoarded or switched on for applause. The SCU begins with the question of what people do when someone else needs help.

Aether Lightning — The current driven through one human body faster than that body can safely carry it. It branches across Vihaan's skin and ignites his luminous cape, leaving painful marks behind. Power has a cost, and the cape's brightness follows the reason he acts.

Aether Gate — A threshold concealed behind Ori's tailor shop in Hyderabad's Old City. An ordinary wooden door opens onto a stone passage threaded with blue light and a vast world below. Cloth, stitches and the old symbol are part of how its secret has been guarded.

Dragon Realm — A realm of unfiltered Aether beyond the human world. Its immense forms, the Vahn, are convictions that endured beyond the people who held them. They are more than creatures to fight; they are living consequences of belief.

Shadow Zone — The Aether's grey, quiet negative: a place of abandoned impulses and unfinished almosts. It is shaped by things people nearly did and never completed. Nekroth chose to remain there, making the realm central to his long experiment.
